My name is Shauna Barnes, a bridal makeup artist with over 10 years of refined expertise. I was once a familiar name in the beauty industry—until God called me into a long, hidden wilderness season. Like Esther, I was prepared in the secret place for a greater purpose.
Now, as a wife and mother of three, I carry an anointing to prepare modern-day Esthers to go before their kings. If you feel like you’re one of them—you just might need a Mordecai like me: someone who can pray a mountain down, crack a joke mid-glam, and still deliver excellence with Holy precision.

06/05/2025 at 11:10Where do I begin, Shauna (the best in the business) Barnes did my make up for my wedding (at the registry office because why not) and I kid you not, I didn’t recognize myself and not in a ‘she did my make up over the top’ way but in a ‘I never looked so good’ way. I looked at myself and fell in love again. She made me not only look beautiful but feel beautiful as well… it was what I needed. She gave me a self confidence boost that I lacked but hid so well. That one day, that one act of love from Shauna to my face ultimately changed the way I viewed myself, I’m now a different person. When she did my makeup, I saw myself as something precious, something special and it’s stuck with me ever since. I am someone that rarely wears make up and when I do I always try and keep it low key but I know deep down I could do a bit more – it’s just not something I’m good at or comfortable with. All I can say is wow! Sister, you are so talented! Thank you for helping me step out of my comfort zone, for making me feel so beautiful!
